Purchase Policy

*There will be no unweaned babies sold from Cockatiel Cottage.

* No birds will be held without a deposit. Deposits are non-refundable and will be accepted via PayPal, credit card through PayPal or Postal money order. If you pay by PayPal, you must add an additional 3%.  No personal checks will be accepted.

* Once a deposit has been received, payment in full must be accepted within one month's time. No birds will be held longer than that time period unless the deposit is on babies being hand fed. 

* Once a verbal agreement has been made, there will be a 7 day hold on the bird, if a deposit payment is not received within that time period, the bird will be placed back on the sales list.

* Deposits are only refundable if there is a problem with Cockatiel Cottage's end of the deal.

* All cockatiels are sold with a traceable NCS leg band.

* All birds will be sold with a 72 hour guarantee.

* Birds can be picked up at a predetermined site to make it easier on the purchaser. I travel to shows up and down the east coast so I can meet you at a show if there is a prior agreement.

* Birds can be DNA sexed for an additional $20 fee.
